Why Pragte
- Seasons by themselves
- Spring clean-ups from March 1, leaves from September 15: each season’s home page takes over on its day, every year, with nothing to edit. See how
- A quote form that follows the season
- In autumn it leads with leaf clearing, in winter with snow. Every request, from every season, lands in one list.
- Switch early from your phone
- Snow in November? Pin Winter as live from your phone that morning, and let the dates take over again later.
- Paid once a year
- $49.99 for 12 months, paid once. Wix’s Light plan comes to $204 for a year, and Core, which takes bookings, to $348.
Why Wix
- Bookings, payments, quotes and invoices in one place, from the Core plan.
- Local business markup and an SEO setup checklist.
- An AI builder that makes a site from a conversation, and an app market for much more.
- A domain free for the first year on most yearly plans.
Wix or Pragte, answered
Is Pragte part of Wix?
No. Pragte is an independent website builder and is not affiliated with Wix.
Can a Wix site change with the seasons?
In part. Wix can schedule a popup, or publish and unpublish CMS items, on a date. The rest of a page changes when you edit it, or with Velo code. In Pragte each season is its own version of the whole site, with its own date.
Can customers book a visit or pay online?
On Wix, with Wix Bookings and payments from the Core plan. Pragte has neither: embed your Calendly page for visits, and send invoices from your own tools.
Which costs less?
Both are free with their branding. Without it, Wix’s Light plan is $204 for a year and Core $348, billed yearly. Pragte is $49.99 once for 12 months. Wix’s price includes bookings and payments on Core; Pragte doesn’t offer them.
Can I move my Wix site to Pragte?
Not by importing it. Show the AI in Pragte’s editor a screenshot of each page and it rebuilds it as a design you can edit. That costs a few AI credits, and every account starts with 100.
